A Victorian Swan on Water Bed & Breakfast is located near the Wisconsin River in Stevens, Wis. The inn is centrally located within driving distance from the Waupaca Chain of Lakes, Wausau, Antigo, Wisconsin Dells, Oshkosh, Green Bay, Eagle River, La Crosse, Madison, Milwaukee, Minneapolis-St. Paul and Chicago. There are many areas near Stevens Point to enjoy, including Green Circle Trails with its 22 miles of bike and hiking trails, the nearby forest preserves and many golf courses, including Sentry World. For a true back to nature experience, guests can canoe in the nearby Plover River. Guests of the inn are invited to share in the history and comfort of this 1889 Victorian home and take a leisurely stroll along the Wisconsin River. Built with the craftsmanship of a century ago, the inn features wood floors with black walnut inlays, crown molding and hidden window shutters. In the summer, the backyard is filled with flowers, a splashing waterfall and comfortable seating. A complimentary gourmet breakfast is served in a plant-filled sun room. Guests can play the piano, or watch television or movies in the TV room, or relax in front of the fireplace with a board game or a good book. Complimentary wireless Internet access and in-house massages are available. These spacious pastel suites combine Victorian antiques with modern comfort. The Rothman Travel suite is decorated with Victorian travel treasures, and has a large bath and fireplace. The whirlpool bath has the feel of a Roman bath with murals.
