A graceful step back in time awaits you at the Boyle House. This Victorian- era house has many unusual architectural features including a Queen Anne Tower; rosette brackets; porches with turned balusters, spindles and columns; and leaded-beveled glass and circle top windows. Furnished with vintage antiques and Oriental rugs, the downstairs is especially cozy, offering a step back to the romantic, peaceful, unhurried grace and elegance of the Victorian era. Downstairs, guests will enjoy two fireplaces and an enchanting parlor-music room that features an antique baby-grand piano and victrola, a beautiful sitting room and a formal dining room furnished with the original oak buffet and dining table. A spectacular red oak staircase leads to the four guest rooms upstairs. Also on this floor is a balcony overlooking a lovely garden. Across from the Boyle House is another delightful bed & breakfast, this one in the 1897 English Tudor Revival style. The Eckhart House features leaded windows and beautifully restored woodwork throughout the house. The cozy, enclosed sun porch makes a delightful place to sit quietly, read or have a cup of afternoon tea or coffee. Outside, the garden, with its trellis seat and pond offers a wonderful place to relax and enjoy your stay in Viroqua. Guests at the Viroqua Heritage Inn are served an abundant breakfast of all natural freshly baked specialties, fresh coffee, fresh fruit and juices, and homemade jam. The full breakfast may be enjoyed in the dining room, on the balcony or on the porch. Guests at the Eckhart House are served an abundant breakfast of all natural freshly baked specialties, fresh coffee, fresh fruit and juices, and homemade jam. Breakfast is served in the Boyle House dining room or porch, across the street. All rooms include a full breakfast. 220 East Jefferson Street, Viroqua, WI - LaCrosse Municipal Airport: Depart airport going south on Fanta Reed Road. Stay straight to go onto Dawson Avenue/Fanta Reed Road/CR-B S, and continue to follow Dawson Road. Merge onto I-90 East toward La Crosse/Madison. Take the WI-35 South/George Street exit - EXIT 3A. Merge onto US-53 South, which then becomes US-61 South/US- 14 West. Turn left onto East Jefferson Street, and continue until you reach the property.
